At this present moment shows are not cancelled and assessing information available, those who wish to take birds to the Federation Show are able to.

When ever Avian Influenza is involved heightened biosecurity and risk factors are always a concern, and it is up to the owner of the birds to assess the risk of the birds coming into contact with wild migrating birds, and the bio security of the show attending.

I hope that everyone keeping birds have managed to secure their birds with either keeping them totally enclosed or with suitable netted pens, and foot baths as you move in and out of their pens.

Please be cautious if you are using plastic sheeting to protect your birds….. they need fresh air circulating!
